When choosing photos please remember...

Choose Quality Photographs
Please remember that if a photo is out of focus it will also appear out of focus on your TV.
Choose clear, well lit photos.

Choose a Variety of Photographs
Variety is important when choosing your photos. Remember to consider candid shots and
not just the ones where everyone is posed. Using a variety of photographs can keep your
audiences interest.

Landscape or Portrait
Landscape pictures fill the TV screen while there will typically be a black border that
appears around the photograph that is in portrait mode.

Music
Choose music that has meaning to you. The music that you select will set the mood of your
video so keep this in mind. Most programs have 2 to 3 songs to provide entertainment and
leave the audience wanting more. Each photo will display approximately 10 seconds so a
good rule of thumb is about 6 to 8 photos for every minute of music. Due to copyright laws,
only store bought CDs will be accepted for use in your video. We can purchase music in
your behalf.

Length of Montage
Usually  video montages that last between 8 – 12 minutes in length are ideal for most
occasions. This usually works out to about 3 songs and 75-100 pictures. You should
always leave your audience wanting more.
Send Us Your Photos

Please number on the back of each photo the order you would like it to appear in your
video montage. We suggest that you use sticky notes to number your photos.

Place your photos in a zip lock bag labeled with the song that you would like to have
played with the photos along with any caption or titles. If the photos are not numbered
than we will place the photos in random order for you.

You might want to make copies of your photos and send the originals to us. Pack your
photos carefully and send them to us using a traceable shipping method such as USPS
Priority Mail, UPS or Fedex. Your photos will be returned with your Video Montage DVD.

Still have questions? Please contact us anytime! We look forward to hearing from you.
Submitting Photos

Digital Files (Preferred Method)

Please set the resolution of the image according to the following guides.

It is important to scan your images at the correct resolution. Low resolutions photos will
appear blurry on your TV.

Scan each photo and save it in a JPG format. Save it as a 3 digit number according to the
order you would like it to appear in your video montage. (Example 001.jpg  002.jpg)

You can burn them to CD and send your photos to us this way. It is a preferred method for
many as you keep your photos with you.
